Dr. Hutchins is a foundational figure in the bisexual rights movement. She rose to prominence as the co-editor of the landmark 1991 anthology, *Bi Any Other Name: Bisexual People Speak Out*. This seminal work gave a powerful voice to the bisexual community and remains a cornerstone of bisexual literature.
Born on May 2, 1948, Hutchins has dedicated her life to education and advocacy. She currently teaches Women’s Studies, LGBT Studies, and sexuality courses at colleges in the Washington, D.C. area.
