The Cheraw community is mourning the sudden loss of Chasity Kinser, a dedicated healthcare professional and former Cheraw High School graduate whose passing came just days after she was active on social media.
Kinser built a career focused on caring for others. She served as an Ophthalmic Technician at Carolina Eye Associates, helping patients with their vision health. Her medical skills were further honed at Northeastern Technical College, where she studied to become a Phlebotomist, a role she fulfilled at McLeod Health. Her nurturing nature was also evident in her earlier work as a Child Care Attendant at Kiddielane Daycare.
Her untimely death, occurring merely five days after she posted a video on TikTok, has sent waves of shock and sorrow through her hometown. The specific circumstances surrounding her passing have not been publicly detailed, compounding the grief for those who knew her.
